In particular — against the post–kantian ideological fashon that affirms an always more radical independence of ethics from ontology and metaphysics, a tendency further enhanced by what I hold to be the wrong interpretations of the so called “Is-Ought Question”— the main point of my research is that everything changes in ethics if God exists or if does not exist.

Theoretical Architecture of my Overal Research Path

General “State” Diagram

In computer science state diagrams are used to describe the behavior of systems, on the assumption that behaviors are composed by a finite number of correlated states. I use the same method for giving a graphical reppresentation of the fundamental skeleton that structures my overall research path, given that philosophizing is an activity composed by a finite number of circular processes of thought; where circularity entails an always renewed state of deeper synthetic understanding of the whole through its parts. The mentioned circular process is also the result of how the distance between what is true “quoad se” and what is true “quoad nos” can be reduced by the philosophical research activity, as the natural development of our understanding goes from what is less noble to what is more noble “in se”.
